When the Royal Bank wanted a new telebanking centre they picked Moncton. They also decided to build a new facility to meet their specific needs and decided to build that centre on the main entry street of the Moncton Industrial Park. After just one year in operation, things were going so well at this new Royal Direct telebanking centre that they proceeded to expand, doubling its size to 60,000 sq ft. Today, the centre employs some 700 people.
